What It Is
What is Candle & Strings?
At its heart, it is a string quartet — four musicians: two violins, a viola and a cello. Everything you hear is played live in the room. Nothing is recorded.
The evening also makes room for a solo piano performance, and a song from our singer.
The programme moves from classical pieces to contemporary hits, from Nigerian songs to the soul records everyone knows — each one rearranged for strings. Around you, a hall lit by thousands of candles.
Some experiences cannot be explained.
They must be felt.

29 August is the only Abuja date, with two shows — 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM. When a tier sells out, there is no third night to move to.

Each show runs 1 hour 30 minutes. Arrive 30 minutes early. Doors shut at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM exactly.

Yes. A live string quartet performing in the room, surrounded by candles. Nothing is pre-recorded.
There are two shows — which one should I pick?
Both are the same evening, the same room and the same programme. The 7:00 PM show suits guests who want an earlier night; the 9:30 PM show suits a later dinner or a slower start. Your ticket is valid for the show you booked only, so choose carefully at checkout.
What time should I arrive?
Thirty minutes before your show — 6:30 PM if you booked 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM if you booked 9:30 PM. That half hour is your time for photographs in the reception area. Seating begins fifteen minutes before the show.
What happens if I arrive late?
The doors shut at the start of your show — 7:00 PM or 9:30 PM — and are not reopened while the music is playing. There are two five-minute intermissions during the performance, and late guests are seated then. You will miss whatever plays before the first one.
How long does it run?
One hour thirty minutes, including two short intermissions. The 7:00 PM show ends around 8:30 PM and the 9:30 PM show ends around 11:00 PM.
What should I wear?
Elegant. There's no strict code, but this is a room people dress beautifully for — lean into it.
What's the difference between VIP and Platinum?
VIP gets you close to the stage, into the exclusive photo room, through a dedicated check-in line, and into a premium drinks area. Platinum is the best 40 seats in the house, plus a professionally lit portrait taken by our photographer and sent to you edited, a dedicated host, reserved parking and upgraded drinks service. VIP is premium access. Platinum is the highest level of treatment.
Is there parking?
Yes — secure on-site parking at NAF Conference Centre, with reserved spaces for Platinum guests.
Are drinks included?
For VIP and Platinum guests, yes — drinks are complimentary in the dedicated premium drinks area before the show. General and Preferred guests can buy drinks at the venue. Non-alcoholic options are available throughout.
Is there an age limit?
Yes — guests must be 16 or older. This is a quiet, seated evening, and we ask that no children under 16 attend.
Can I buy for a group or my company?
Yes. For groups, corporate guests or client entertainment, message us on WhatsApp — we'll handle seating together and invoicing.
Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can't make it, message us on WhatsApp and we'll move it into someone else's name.
Can I switch from one show to the other?
If seats remain in your tier on the other show, yes — message us on WhatsApp and we'll move you. Once a tier is sold out for that show, we can't.
My payment failed. What now?
It's usually a bank limit rather than your card. Try again, use a different card, or message us on WhatsApp and we'll send you a direct payment link.
Is the venue accessible?
